It was a nice once-off thing, although I don’t see it as something I’d do often, even if I was willing to spend or had the money to. The scultptures are beautiful and it’s a fun 30 minutes of hanging out in an usual, almost fairy-tale like, icy, flourescent-pink-lit fridge! Very worth it.

I just spent two great months in Australia visiting my sister. We generally stuck to Victoria but made our way up along the east coast all the way to Cairns on the Great Green Way.
Skydived onto the amazing Mission Beach, snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef, lazed on the powdery white silica sands of Whitehaven beach of the Whitsundays, walked the Sydney Harbour Bridge, dedicated a week to theme parks on the Gold Coast, drove the Great Ocean Road – some of the highlights.
It’s such a vast country with contrasting climate and landscapes from state to state. So much natural beauty. Very modern.
I enjoyed my time there and I’m looking forward to studying in Perth and seeing some of Western Australia.

My sister lives there. I’ve heard a lot of positive things about it and I can’t wait to visit! She’s very familiar with all the best places to visit, especially in Victoria, so I’m counting on an excellent guided tour =o)
I would have liked to visit over summer, but as far as I know, there’s still lots to see and do even in winter…and I’ll hopefully be studying at university there this time next year – fingers crossed!

Hope I get to see Pete Murray perform live at some point.
