over 5 years agoCiarns is a big suburban sprawl of ugliness. Get in a car and drive to points north like Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas, Cape Tribulation, etc.
over 5 years agoand no one hates a tourist trap more than I, but this is a must-see before you die. Not because of the monument necessarily, but the surrounding area is beautiful. While you’re in South Dakota, head a little east and check out the Badlands…
