Beautiful meadows and awesome views in the summer, great fun in the snow in the winter

It’s been a long time for me too, but I remember it being a pretty fun place. My hubby used to manage one of the food places. The courtyard was a great place to sit and read a book or just watch people pass. The smells there were amazing.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yummy pizza! Do they still serve their drinks in mini milk carton type things?

This is an absolutely beautiful area, and the wildlife is amazing. If you have a chance to go, dont pass it up!

Beeeauutiful beach, solitude, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Everyone has to see it at least once! It’s not as exciting as you might hope, I guess, but it’s just one of those things, part of our weird american culture that everyone has to experience once.

There’s an old stump at one end of the smaller lake. Sitting on that stump you can see clear up the valley, and the surrounding mountains are beautiful. There are pictures of my great grandparents sitting on that stump way back when, my grandpa (now 85) when he was a boy, my dad and his sisters when they were kids, I as a child with my grandpa, and now more recently my own kids, all sitting on that stump with an amazing view. There is no better place on earth!!!
