My girlfriend and I went here for our one year anniversary, we had a picnic lunch in the lovely Pecan Grove and wandered the grounds for a while afterward. Beautiful.

I love Mexican food and this is the best I’ve had. Okay, it’s not any more pretentious than Tex-Mex, but it’s amazingly good.

My girlfriend’s family is from El Paso and it is their favorite. Every time we go back, a stop at Avila’s is in order.

Every dish I’ve had has been great, with some preference to the flautas and enchiladas. The free sopapillas are also warm and wonderful.

This was the most fun out of the places we visted on tour with before 1993 National Scout Jamboree. Stayed in the Hotel Harrington which is in an excellent location two blocks from the Mall.

As a tourist location, no. My visits to Oklahoma have been confined to the I35 corridor and northern sections of the flat state to visit family members. There’s nothing wrong with the place, it’s just… flat.
