My girlfriend and I went here for our one year anniversary, we had a picnic lunch in the lovely Pecan Grove and wandered the grounds for a while afterward. Beautiful.

over 5 years agoI love Mexican food and this is the best I’ve had. Okay, it’s not any more pretentious than Tex-Mex, but it’s amazingly good.
My girlfriend’s family is from El Paso and it is their favorite. Every time we go back, a stop at Avila’s is in order.
Every dish I’ve had has been great, with some preference to the flautas and enchiladas. The free sopapillas are also warm and wonderful.
over 5 years agoOne of the most beautiful drives I have ever taken.
