A review of this place

I have lived in Cape Coral my whole life. There in’t anything to do ( as most people have already mentioned), but if you are willing to drive 30 minute out of town, then there is plenty to do, at least for me. I enjoy the smaller things in life…I.E: a walk in a nature park, watch sunset on a pier, View Manatees at State Park, Dinner overlooking the ocean, etc.
Now, as for Cape Coral itself…It’s a nice , quiet town to live in, but not to vacation at.

Point Village Resort

I was 18 and I went with my hubby. We had the time of our life and we have a goal to return to this resort once every 4 years.
The weed is unbeleivable, the drinks are amazing, the atmosphere is beautiful and the ppl are genuine. The waiters, waitresses, bartenders, entertainment, food, snorkeling, the beach, the water, The fishing, the tourist from different countries, the other resorts we walked through, everything that we experienced I can close my eyes and remember every little wonderful detail…I wish that every person can experience going to Jamaica and just sit by the bar, gaze at a beautiful beach, smoke a joint,( well, you can’t smoke a joint right there at the bar..I will tell you that much) listen to Bob Marley, and have the bartender look at you and say..”Yeah mon’..”
Also, when my gy and I would walk by some of the men..they would look at me..then look at my hubby and say “Respect mon’- Respect.” Also, they normally say dont tip at an all inclusive, One bit of advice…TIP! When there is a line at the one bar that is open at ten at night, and your the one person that tipped the bartender that day..they will walk right by the ppl that have been waiting 15 minutes and come straight to you to take your order..no B.S.
Also, If you go on the six mile beach..or go out of the resort shopping, ppl will hound you to buy things…buy weed, buy roots, buy a necklace..hey..buy this purse I just found on the beach…so on so forth…It is a poor country and you will notice that as you drive through to your resort, i dont think it would kill any one to buy a $5 necklace from someone…Or a seashell that a fisherman just pulled out of the water…I would wait until your leaving the beach or the area to buy something from the locals though..Because they have a way of communicaing and if you walk on th beach and buy a necklace, its like every one on that beach knows you just bought something and they are looking for you to sell more to..
