i’m a misplaced local, i just moved away from redding last summer… i never thought i’d miss it. but for all the years i lived there it took moving away for me to appreciate it. i cant even begin to say how much i love shasta county… i miss nature, clean lakes, beautiful mountains, snowbaording, cold rain, our tiny downtown, the cascade theatre, ... mot of all i miss my friends, of course. i think houston has to be one of the worst places to meet people, its so impossible! those in redding dont know how lucky they are.

and if you dont like redding, move away and dont come back until you appreciate it! that way redding can stay shitty-people free, the way i like it. so there!

I’m going to be an exchange student to Campo Grande!! I fly out from Houston on August 7th… and I don’t know any Portuguese yet, and I’ll be living there for a year.. cripes! It’s exciting though, I’m super psyched (although nervous too, especially about the language) about living here.
