i was residing in kenner when hurricane katrina hit…. its not all that and there isnt anything to do around there…. pretty much boring.

i was born and raised in new orleans, la…. i was residing in kenner, la when hurricane katrina hit…. my home got 6 feet of water and we lost everything but the pictures on the wall…. its pretty sad, its much worse then what u see on tv… u have to see it for urself in person to see what ppl went through…. i now live in raceland, louisiana with my husband and our 11 month old son who’s 1st birthday happens to be tomorrow may 18th.... enclosed is a pic of my brother’s house, he lived on st. roch street off of robert e lee in new orleans, he had 12 feet of water.
