Worth visiting!
Hometown girl...
I was born and mostly raised in Indiana and it’s a place I’ll always consider home.
The sunsets are awesome, there are tons of things to do (besides playing in cornfields) and you can find an amazing amount of history there.
I keep seeing entries about how flat it is… yet I used to work at a ski resort that’s in southern Indiana. ;)
The north is definitely more flat than the south, and the south is GORGEOUS in fall.
IU’s campus in Bloomington is really amazing – definitely worth an afternoon stroll.
While there aren’t many big cities in Indiana, the state isn’t exactly known for it’s raucus urban atmosphere. Indianapolis has tons of great things to do, but let’s face it – when you think of Indiana, you’re more apt to think of corn and hayrides than a killer nightlife. As long as you aren’t expected New York or LA, you should be good to go.
Love it!
