Probably the most beautiful place I’ve seen on the planet.

It was our pilot’s last trip flying in a C-130 Hercules and although there were altitude restrictions to stay up and out I couldn’t help noticing how much it looked like we were flying in the canyon at times. The canyon(s) also cover a lot larger area than I ever thought by just looking at pictures. The colours of the walls were amazing.

I only spent 2 nights/3 days in Addis Ababa. I got lost wondering around but the local kids led me back to the hotel for a handful of little Canada flag pins. Friendly people.

For the 8 years that I lived in Nova Scotia I did a 4-day weekend in PEI. My only regret was leaving. Probably some of the best beaches in the world are here.
