Wasn’t at all impressed by this aquarium, especially with all the hype surrounding it, it being Keiko’s home for a short while and all. With the exception of the sharks and the sea otters, everything they have can be seen at the Oregon Zoo – for cheaper, at that. Save your money and head over to Ripley’s or Sea Lion Caves instead, should you be in Newport and/or surrounding areas.
over 2 years agoSpent a night in Crescent City a few years back camping on the beach, and loved it. Gorgeous and plenty to do if you love the outdoors.
over 3 years agoI lived there for a year and loved it. Beautiful city (with the exception of some neighborhoods, as with most cities) with a lot to do. Definitely not as “redneck” as most expect. You just need to get used to the weather, which for me, took forever.
