I came to Airdrie to visit my friend…now I live here!

I have a friend there and I’d love to go visit.

Its in the Dominican Republic – about an hour or so outside of Santo Domingo. We went for a week long all inclusive package…there was a lovely beach but only a limited area to go explore outside of the hotel.

I had a great time in Cuba. The local people were very friendly and welcoming. The beach was gorgeous, and we had fantastic weather.

You have to see Vegas to believe it. We spent the whole time wandering around gawking at the hotels and people watching.
We stayed at Paris. It was so great that it really blew my mind. It is tricky to find vegetarian meals on the strip though.

I have to say that I really enjoyed the food in Atlanta. There’s a great vegetarian selection and I wasn’t disappointed in any of the meals that I had there.
I enjoyed the High Museum of Art. They have a very diverse collection.
As for sightseeing? It was not very exciting and I did not feel safe as a woman alone in the city.

I have been to Chicago three times and I loved it.
The Art Institute of Chicago is huge and wonderful. I also loved Rush Street and Navy Pier. There’s lots to keep you busy in Chicago.

I spent some time in England when I was 11 and I returned to London for a few days when I was 18. I loved the overwhelming sense of history there.

Tikal and Antigua are unbelievable. Guatemala City…not so much.

I went on an international development trip about 15 years ago. The whole experience, especially my memories of the people I met, have really stayed with me. I have been longing to go back ever since.
