Been living in HK, as an exchange student, for six months now. I couldn’t have asked for a better oppertunity. HK is a great place, full of fun and excitement… Minus all the crowds of people, which no one could ever get use to. Never use the MTR on Christmas-eve. Other then that I love HK, one day I hope to come back to HK and make my life here.

a little boy and girl were flying a kite with their dad at the sun yat-sen memorial, while tapiei 101 overlooked..

China seems to be this mysterious place full of suprises and adventures. For my second trip to China I visted Shanghai and it was totally not what I expected. The food was great and the sky-scrapers made the city unique and beautiful. Although it’s China’s most modern city it’s still home to a lot of poverty and it brings you down to earth. Seeing a three-year old little girl hug onto a twelve year old boys foot begging for money wsn’t part my trip’s plans. Shanghai was a wonderful experience and I’ll be back in summer 2007, summer program at Fudan University.
