A wonderful weekend escape!
I was astounded by how wonderful it was. We went for a weekend break, just a few days, and had no preconception of what it was going to be like. We didn’t know what to expect and I think it really made the trip all the more better! It’s a friendly city, with good summer weather and a relaxing atmosphere. It’s easy to walk most places and nothing beats sitting down Nyhavn with some chilled beers. It was one of the best breaks I’ve ever had.
Tip: Don’t sit in the bars along Nyhavn. Get some bottled beers from the Netto store behind the Rundetarn and sit along the edge of the dock enjoying them!
Tip: The best thing we did was as soon as we arrived we hopped on the boat tour that leaves Nyhavn every few minutes. It was a great way to introduce ourselves to the city.
