It’s not that I haven’t been there. I’ve gone to school there for 4 years and spent 2 summers. But I haven’t taken advantage of it fully yet, and that’s what September 2006 – June 2007, my (hopefully) last year of college is about.

…and staying with a friend when I get there. And going back to Chicago to spend Christmas in my very own apartment with, I hope, a Christmas tree.

But I’ve been thinking of this place all too often in the last few years and it’s about time I visited. And I really really like flying West. Maybe because I’m from the East Coast and I feel like I’m part of the Manifest Destiny or something like that.
