I went to Belize in 2001 for a field school in archaeology. I spent the summer in the Orange Walk District. I had a hard time adjusting to the life style. But I’m glad I went. While I was there I visited Lamanai and Altun Ha. Both were great to see!

I have many family and friends that live there so I’ve been in almost every county. I’ve thought on more than one occasion about moving there. The Amish country is so beautiful too! It’s at least worth a visit!

A great island to visit! I stayed at many hotels while I was there. The Mayan Princess and Playadors were the best of the bunch. Snorkling, relaxing, drinking, good music, random dogs on the beach! The trip was great!

Great trip! I’d love to go again and even live there! Wonderful city!
