Going to Ireland in August!!!

Bergen is a wonderful city – the atmosphere is much netter than in Oslo, the people are warmer, more cheerful, more talkative – or that’s my impression, at least.

I’ve beent here in summer, so I can say there are a lot of wonderful caffees (Lillezahen!), places to go out (Garage!), and bookstores (Lesehest!). And the sea… I just loved the sea. I should have been a sailor, honestly :)

I just want to spend a rainy night there walking the street, shaking hands with doorhandles and doing the usual watch business… Nothing more. Oh, and smoke a cigar. Definitely a cigar :)

I’ve been to Norway Twice and I have sorta love/hate relationship with the country. Nature is beautiful, yes. Seascapes astound me. The climate is nice too (in Oslo, at least – and no, it’s not ALL that cold in winter).

I met some nice people, but the rest were somewhat boring, and kept talking about their cottages and furniture all the time, and everyone is dead drunk on weekends, and they vomit on the streets…

The alcochol is expensive; cigarettes are expensive; everything is expensive rolleyes

Do I want to go there again? OH YES! Do I want to stay? OH NO!

No, realy, couldn’t resist when I saw Tatooine on the list grin. Preferrably go there while Obi-Wan is still alive and, well, there…
