I watched a spot on Niagara Falls 2 years ago on a lifestyle channel and I was hooked. I had to go at some point. It took me two years. But I did go there May 2007 and it was beautiful. Especially on the Canadian side, the walk from end to end, on a breezy summer day just had me feeling a BUZZ of wonder, and awe.
I took a ride on the Maid of the Mist, and I really would have loved it if it would have gone closer to the falls, but of course they keep it at a safe distance.
Try and make it a point to go on a Friday or Saturday night as well – I missed the fireworks display :(
DEFINITELY will be back there again someday, in fact I’d love to live up there (when I’m rich and old!) would LURVE to wake up to that and take in its grandeur…hmm perfect for morning jogs too.
