Paris was a mixed bag. The beauty of it’s antiquity against the stench of urine. The many shops manned my friendly and helpful keepers against the snobby and rude Parisians on the street. The caos of down town traffic against the quietude of the latin quarter. So much can be said for Paris but much against also.
I’ve heard that things are more consistant and less extreme in the country. That can be said for just about anywhere.

Georgia On My Mind

My grandma lived outside Lavonia for many years (my entire childhood to adulthood) until her death. I’ve been through many times and stopped often to explore and see the sights. Too bad there’s no breeze inland when it gets so hot.

My Place of Origin

I was born a 5th generation Floridian in West Orange County, Central Florida just a few minutes from Orlando. I’ve been to all of the local attractions so many times I lost count. Disney and Sea World never lose their mystique for me though. In the 18+ years I was there growing up I was able to see and expierience so much but there’s still so much left to be discovered. I have a blast every time I go back. All you haters just didn’t get to the good parts, like the people. Real Florida Crackers are a breed apart and good to have on your side when you’re in a pinch.

Serbia

I love the country and the people. Sad as it was to see the demolished towns where the war spilled into it still had a quiet beauty. I was there in ‘99. I was stationed at Eagle Base, Tusla, Bosnia. I was able to move around pretty freely and got to see a lot of the country.

Saudi Arabia

Worth visiting!

I was in Saudi in ‘96 during the Operation Southern Watch. What a culture shock to say the least. Getting bombed and shot at was not very enjoyable but they have most of the ammenities that we are use to in the USA, the food is great and the people are (for the most part) pretty cool.

How this place changed my life

I spent most of my military career in Germany. I got married, had a son, got divorced, left the service, went to college, changed careers, became a Freemason all in Germany. This place didn’t necessarily change my life but my life had a lot of changes in the 14 years that I was there.
