Wyoming seeps into your blood. I love the Wind River Range and the rocky soil and the glacial lakes and the Wyoming accent and the way that everybody with three acres has an enclosure with a horse on it.

Just a general warning for all you native born southerners: when the Farm says local food, what they mean is that most of the foods they serve were grown locally. Not that their style of cuisine is particularly southern! It’s really influenced by Alice Waters and Chez Panisse. If you’re looking for home food, check out Peaches, Weaver Ds, or Wilson’s Soul Food across the street from the Farm. That aside, Farm 255 is so amazing. Get a cheese plate! And coffee after dinner!
