We camped at Crater Lake. Thunder resonated through the mountains. A shower sent us to bed early. I awakened before dawn. As it grew lighter, the forest taking on color and depth, the stars disappearing and the sky turning blue, the resiliency of the moment struck me. My life, vibrant, in harmony with nature, this was a moment to treasure. I live 50 miles from Crater Lake. It is my sanctuary.over 6 years ago
