I wanted to go back home after being there only ONE day. Too touristy, too pricey, too run down. The only cool thing about the place were the sea lions and seals at the Arc on Lovers Beach.

Margo and Robert (the owners of Sin Dudas) are the kindest and most wonderful hosts EVER— plus Margo makes the world’s greatest Margo-ritas! My husband and I spent two weeks (our honeymoon), it was WONDERFUL; very remote, very calm and quiet.  Sin Duda is the perfect place to relax and read a zillion books and just get in touch with yourself again. There is a grocery truck which comes twice a week to the front door or you can drive to town to eat Yucatan food.  You can snorkel, kayak, swim, star-gaze on their roof (Robert is very learned with constellations) have dinner (a great restaurant is within walking distance) or you can take day trips to Chetumal, Belize, various Mayan ruins, or just pet the dogs, to name a few things. You can read great selections from their huge library. Without a doubt a great place to visit whether you are a couple, a family or even alone.
