My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon in Denver. It was ok. I think I actually liked Colorado Springs area better. There is a great jazz club there called Dazzle. Heard a really great local jazz group play. I highly recommend it.

This is where I went to college. It is uninteresting and doesn’t offer much. Back in 1999 a travel guide rated it as the worst metropolitan area to live in in the U.S. In response to this assesment, David Letterman gave us two gazebos and dubbed Kankakee, IL the “Home of the Twin Gazebos.”

I’m not sure if this is worth visiting or not, but this is where I grew up.

I went there in the Summer of 2002 as apart of a Mission trip. It was excellent, we were immersed into the culture for 6.5 weeks. That was a milestone in my life. I miss it there.
