The last day I spent in Köln (2005) was one of the worst days of my life. At least it felt like that back then. When I think back on it now it was more like an adventure than a nightmare and grin every time I do. The city itself is beautiful. I liked it a great deal more than I liked Berlin. The Dome is unbelievable. The riverside was really nice as well. I`d like to go back there some day when there are less people there. It was a tad crouded last time.

Be patient with the people. They tend to be a bit standoffish, but once they melt, they`re really nice. Oh, and definitely go in the summer. The countryside in Estonia is breathtaking in the summer. And there is this special atmosphere there, especially in the end of June during the white nights period. Be sure not to miss the sunsets!
