Worth visiting!

My husband and I got PADI certified for scuba here on my 48th birthday. Loved the coast and cayes. The jungle was magical.
But we had a scary adventure when we were held up on our way back to the jungle lodge after visiting Tikal in Guatamala. Long story. Short version…...... We had 4 guns pointed at us. 4 other people were indside the vehicle, I was not. The driver decided to make a run for it but neglected to tell me to hold on first. I ran after the Land Rover and somehow caught up. My husband grabbed my arms and I was dragged for a while and then he somehow flipped me in through the window.
The rest is a whole other story about how we spent the night in the jungle not knowing where the robbers were.
