my mom’s side of the family is originally from mexico, but they all are currently living in california….i personally think that the desert part of california is worth visiting more than the movie-star, hollywood crap part. when i went, we stayed at my uncles and everytime the wind blew you felt it…the houses are that thin out there, and the other thing is, they don’t complain. my uncle didn’t let the fact that his house was practially made out of cardboard bother him, he said it was part of its charm….in the desert everyones real.
