Went there years ago. We stayed at the Trelawny Beach Club (near Montego Bay) and it was a great time. Beautiful beach, beautiful clear water, lots of entertainment.

Was in Istanbul in mid-August last summer and it was scorching. I think the best time of the year for northerners to go is probably in late September.

Although I spent most of my time here at Acadia University during a recent conference, the town is quite pretty. And I would have liked to visit Cape Blomidon, home to the Glooscap legend

It was beautiful there in February and the people are super friendly. The scenery in Corner Brook is just lovely.

I’ll try (once again) to plan to go to the Desert of Maine (and maybe a sidetrip to Freeport – L.L.Bean’s)
