The first time I ever performed live on a real stage (aka not a random local/party show) was here. I was playing with the Paul Green School – it was one of the best experiences of my life. If you want to go to a nice little place for shows, go to this place.

It’s official – summer 09, a little more than a year and a half from now, I’ll be flying into Heathrow! I’ll be on an 8 country college tour/trip, and I’m ecstatic about starting off in London. It’s a life long dream finally come true. Finally I get to see the home of my ancestors.

Earlier this year I had read about a city called Samarkand, and how it used to be a rather large metropolitan staple in central europe. This intrigued me, and I figured that one day I would very much like to go there. Later, I actually met a handsome young man from Uzbekistan, developed a crush on him, and now have even more of an interest in going. From what I hear, it’s a diamond in the rough, and if you want real experiences apart from the touristy places in the world, that Uzbekistan is a nice place for that. Perhaps within the next few years I’ll end up going?
