I had an unexpected trip to Narragansett (sp) had some clams, walked on the beach and stayed in a little shack – and met a great lawyer (it can happen).

I had a great time canoeing the river in central Boston – thanks lisa and jeff.

Baltimore – has some nice places. If you are stuck at the airport – you can take a train into town, get a bite in little Italy and get back to the airport in about 3-4 hours.

I remember the Newport Cruise as a kid and being impressed by the ships.

If you are going for Whitewater rafting – Gully river in the fall.

Finger Lakes Region – rent a van – hit as many wineries as you can.

Pittsburgh is unuquely Pittsburgh – the way peoele speak – the food – Primanti Brothers (sorry overrated – but good), chopped Ham at Isaly’s, and my favorite place – Fat Heads on the South Side! The perfect sandwich and a beer place.

Great College town and home of Zingerman’s Deli.

Louisville is famous for the Brown Hotel – go for Derby Pie and liked by me for Lynn’s Paradise Cafe

Kind of like Ohio – but flater.
