Do a day trip that involves some hiking time and a trip on the mining car.

If you are going solo – consider the FIJI Experience – if you are flexible – this is a great way to get a taste of the island and does not seem like a traditional tour.

The Windsor Hotel in ChristChurch is a great value and perfect location. The owner is great!!!

I spent twelve hours in the airport waiting for a flight to Australia. We could not leave – I saw a great sunrise – but that was it.

A tip – don’t hit the subway for the first time when you are carrying your suit in one hand and your girlfriends dress in the other. It was a good wedding.

The Mutiny Hotel in Coconut Grove is great. You must have a Real Cuban sandwich.

This was my first vacation as an adult – my girlfriend at the time (famous for her continuous quote of “I only have two dollars”) thought this one up. It was a long drive down from Ohio and an even longer drive back – that vacation should have taught me something. The beach was fine – all I remember was sand blowing in my face.

I remember camping here as a kid – It was my first big adventure and the first vacation I enjoyed – I think because it was the first one we traveled on with another family… :>
