Cedar Point

Why I want to go to this place

I’m a closet coaster enthusiast. I think I want to join the American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE) in my future. Anyway, I recall a whole hour of programming (either Travel Channel or Discovery Channel) dedicated to this one amusement park. It looked like a complete blast, and I plan to go one day. Shoot, don’t let me work for an airline and get free flights. It’s on! LOL

Dollywood

Not worth visiting!

A review of this place

If you’re closer to another major amusement park, ie Six Flags Over Georgia, go there first. It’s cool ONLY if you don’t have many other options.

Buckhead

Not worth visiting!

A review of this place

Pretty good shopping because I always can find something formal or for a night out fitting my style at the Macys at Lenox.

Other than that, it’s just a place to see celebrities and be seen. It’s like the grand Mecca for all that’s fake and phony in Atlanta. There is more to Atlanta than just Buckhead. Take it from someone born and raised in the A. (Shoot, I remember The Omni and Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. I even remember going to Richway, Zayre, and 7-11. Not to mention Club ESSO….. sigh)

Jellyfish Lake

Why I want to go to this place

I need to learn how to swim first, but it looked soooooo….cooooool on “Survivor”. Ethereal, unreal, heavenly.

Tennessee Aquarium

Worth visiting!

I love the river otters! I can watch them for…several minutes. Maybe 15 minutes. The aquarium is great, and it’s a beautiful location at night.

Rock City

Worth visiting!

A review of this place

My dad took me and my brother there during our childhood. I loved it!!! It was absolutely wonderful with all of the natural attractions and the little elf/gnome village. I would love to take my kids there someday. I crossed the swinging bridge with idiots that were making it swing, but my mom safely crossed the rock bridge. I’ll never forget that place.

SEE ROCK CITY! (I wonder how many of those barns are left.)

Montana

Why I want to go to this place

I still remember hearing Clark Howard, the money saving guru with his own radio program, talk about Montana being a cheap destination at a certain time of year. He went on and on about how beautiful the mountains and the scenery are. I would love to see that personally, especially in a place where the pollution might be more minimal than here in Georgia.

The photos on here are beautiful, too.

Ghana

(in Africa)
Why I want to go to this place

I dated a guy from Accra, and he always talked about how Ghanians (sp?) are the happiest people on earth. I know other Ghanians also, and they all seem happy. I’d love to check it out.

Key West

Why I want to go to this place

It seems like a calm and cool place to be relaxed. I hear there are great ghost tours (never been on one), and Ernest Hemingway’s home is there. Wow, relaxation and culture all in one place. Plus, sand and ocean.
