i grew up in Monroe too. its was a fun enviroment when i was a kid

here’s what it has to offer

the outdoors
hunting, bowling, fishing
going around the woods lost half the time
running around on the roof
festivals every other week
blowing things up
swimming in murky waters
best gumbo contest

now being far from it, i can say monroe has alot of history if you explore it deep enough. the people around always has something to say about the place. the sunlight shines differently over the town with peace and crispiness

i had the wildest experience in boracay. the parties, the people the views. if your going there checkout the ‘backside’ of the island where its not so commercialized. there you’ll get so see a tipped over ship that they didnt bother to scoop out. which is awesome it adds to the view. also thats where the kiteboarders go to do their thing. during sunrise, i saw turkeys in the trees. i wasn’t hallucinating because my friend saw it also. first time i saw something like that. it wasn’t jus one turkey, there was a whole group of them. people talk about the sand alot but thats not what makes the place great. they have a mix of everything from food to things to do. there’s always people awake 24/7 so you’ll never get bored. when we went island hopping, i found an old coin in a cave. it was one of the first issued 10cents coin with only a fish logo on it. i went there with 2 of my bestfriends, we were getting high with everyone. also they sell alot of shrooms there. lobster is cheap (go to the market behind “d’mall”) everyone parties hard every night, the air brings back a taste leaving you wanting more.
