Frankfurt am Main, Hessen
Untitled
A modern city, not any more interesting than any other modern city. If you have a reason to go there, it is nice, but I wouldn’t make it a travel destination just to see Frankfurt.

over 6 years agoThomas Jefferson said one view from Harpers Ferry was worth a trip across the Atlantic. Harpers Ferry is located on a mountain at the intersection of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers. A lot of history and a lot of beautiful scenery, not to mention the Appalachian Trail goes right through the town.
over 6 years agoI grew up about 100 miles from here. I love the Sandhills of Nebraska – just take a drive east from Alliance (near Carhenge) and after 80 miles or so, I think you will fall in love as well. The concept of Carhenge is offbeat, but it is a really cool spot to visit. Try checking it out around sunset- absolutely beautiful.
