It’s paradise, but you pay a price for it every day whether it’s the cost of gas, income tax, or GET. Things are expensive.
It is the most isolated place on Earth. The islands get real small after a couple of years. Most of those beautiful valleys are places you can’t go into because they are privately owned and the mountain hikes can be very dangerous. You get “rock fever” every now and then which can only be cured by a trip to the mainland.
But you can’t beat the beaches. They are the prettiest to be seen anywhere.
