Eichsfeld is a beautiful and quite rural region located parts in north west Thuringia and south east Lower Saxony. You will find some very old castles, churches, beautiful towns. And may I mention the food… it’s the best ;-)

I’ve lived there for nine months and just fell in love with the place and the people.

How much do I wish to get back someday!

I’ve been there three times, but it appears that I will get back there on regular basis, since my soulmate just moved over there.

Best thing is: My bachelor party is going to take place in Tallinn. How awesome is that!

I’ve been there two times. The city centre is very beautiful. I liked the Royal Museum of Modern Art and touring around the city by bus. The bars are great. Don’t leave Brussels without having had a good sip of one or two of belgium beers! I like it a lot.

It was my first stop on my way down under. It was just overwhelming to realize such a beautiful place does exist.

The biggest city on South Island. I lived there for about five months or so. It’s surrounded by fantastic scenery like the Banks Peninsula and the Southern Alps just one hour drive’s reach.
Get some real good Fish’n’Chips on Manchester St, or awesome pies at Copenhagen Bakery on Armagh St. Visit the weekend market at the Art Center. And don’t forget to give the Wunderbar in Lyttelton a try. If you’re looking for a hostel, Foley Towers on Kilmore St is definitely recommended.

I travelled South Island over a period of 5 months. It’s just covered with awesome scenery. Great locals. I love’d it, being there.
