I’ve been there two times. The city centre is very beautiful. I liked the Royal Museum of Modern Art and touring around the city by bus. The bars are great. Don’t leave Brussels without having had a good sip of one or two of belgium beers! I like it a lot.over 7 years ago
The biggest city on South Island. I lived there for about five months or so. It’s surrounded by fantastic scenery like the Banks Peninsula and the Southern Alps just one hour drive’s reach.
Get some real good Fish’n’Chips on Manchester St, or awesome pies at Copenhagen Bakery on Armagh St. Visit the weekend market at the Art Center. And don’t forget to give the Wunderbar in Lyttelton a try. If you’re looking for a hostel, Foley Towers on Kilmore St is definitely recommended.
