It’s inevitable…no matter where you were born and raised, chances are that you are going to absolutely hate that place. I’ve lived in Amarillo my whole life and I can’t wait to get out of here, but that doesn’t make it a bad place. We have a relatively low crime rate, nothing shocking really happens too often, and it’s a superb place to raise a family. Sure, there’s not a whole lot for teens to do, but that just makes for a more creative bunch of kids. If there’s nothing to do, you have to use your imaginations. For instance, I make my own clothes…I have a friend that tags the town up with her stencils. Amarillo isn’t a bad place, it’s all in how you look at it.
