i have just been to ayutthaya 2 times this year. the site is wearing out faster than i could believe. it must be something to do with preservation. tourists may touch, sit, climb on these ruins. or they can even pick up anything there. no security, officials or volunteers to reinforce noraml rituals you find in these heritage ruin. something should be done…

im planning to go to bangkok. and hv been researching excursions not far from bangkok. originally, i am planning to visit pattaya. however, local friends has been de-selling too much of it. but highly recommending – Kanchanaburi. a place involves a lot of history of thailand. really look forward to it! =)

if you like archeology, old temple, ruin, it is a must go. it is quite a large area. you may join local tour or get there by train

Lots to see. Old city, mixed with new high rise buildings. river views. heritage city and beach & resort nearby. friendly people around!

it is just a grand lake after all.
without the myth, it is like many other lakes in scotland or england.

it seems that i am so fascinated by the ancient world. since i was a kid, i like dinasour.. then now.. i like to visit those world heritage, (lost) seven wonders of the world… and peru, seems to catch my attention without doubt. especially machu picchu. the myth, not being destroyed by spanish during the colonial days and all of a sudden, an empty place when discovered by archeologist. going to peru is like luxury. it will need 10-14 days for such a trip from hong kong. but i’d like to do it some time before my 30. hahah
