Kusadasi, Turkey

This was a stop on a European cruise that I went on last summer. We decided to hire one of the taxi drivers to take us to Mary’s house, Ephesus, etc. In my opinion, it was a little pricey, but worth the air conditioned comfort! He also took us to a leather shop his brother owned where we were able to haggle for some great deals on turkish leather. It pays to pay the locals to show you around!

Athens, Athens Prefecture

Athens, greece was the first stop on a cruise I went on of Europe. I definately reccomend using the metro in Athens to get to Acropolis. The people who sell the tickets are very helpful, and will get you to where you want to go. It’s all common sense after that.

Washington State, United States

Untitled

I lived in Vancouver, Washington for about two years. I spent the last year and half of high school here, and graduated in 2004 before moving down to Loganville, Georgia.

Washington is a very diverse, and open minded place. I loved how people were not afraid or timid about speaking their minds. Although it was hard to be the “new girl” for awhile, the people here do open up, and most live life with a passion that is hard to find in other parts of the country.

Also, the amount of things to do is a big plus. Where I lived the beach, the mountains, and the valley were all about an hour’s drive. The rainy winters are hard to get used to, but the beautiful summers are worth every bit of water. I’m looking forward to going back up to visit and hike my old trails!
