It follows the Pacific Crest Trail from Yosemite to Mt. Whitney, along some of the most beautiful trails in the world. I hiked it with my friend Jim about 10 years ago in 23 days, and I’ve been dying to do it again ever since.
over 5 years ago…much better than Cabo San Lucas. Don’t pass up a chance to go here. Eat fish tacos, drink Pacifico, and take a walk on the Malecon!
over 5 years agoIt’s only an hour and a half north, much prettier and without all the tourists. Big resort towns in Mexico tend to be pretty lame, and there’s always something better just down the road, you just have to take a chance and get off the beaten path. Also try Todos Santos, about an hour north of Cabo, or Loreto, a beautiful little fishing village about 6-7 hours north.
