Since about a year ago the main 3 sisters lookout or “Echo point” has been built up and is full of tourists. I would recomend finding one of the many other lookouts around the area (like Sublime point, which looks at the back of the three sisters and has an accompanying geocache with it!
over 5 years agoLast time i came here I caught the train to katoomba and camped at a nearby lookout under the stars. the next day I Hiked into the jamison valley, up Mt SOlitary and camped there for the night. After the morning kuffufel of packing up we walked past the ruined castle and up bloody furbers steps out and along past the YHA and caught the train home.
It was a ggreat hike and i would recomend it for anyone over the age of about 15-17!
