Read that this location doesn’t exits anymore? I think that there are a few other ones in NYC though.

The first floor is just a regular McDonald’s. The second floor has a gelato counter. Walk around and you will see little display cases. One has artifacts from the 70s, and others have ones from the 80s, 90s, and now this decade (the 00s?). The one from the 80s brought me back to my childhood, with the metal lunchbox, My Little Pony, Gameboy, McNugget toys (this is McDonald’s, so of course) and original Nintendo controller.

The site of the St. Valentine’s Day massacre is now in the parking lot of an old folks’ home. But it’s worth it to go and see where this event took place.

Best deep dish pizza I have ever had. Be sure you have time to spare, because ours took 45 minutes. We didn’t mind the wait because the server told us that it would take that long. You can write all over the walls. Bring a liquid paper marker, the white liquid one, and then your writing will be seen the easiest.

I went here because they supposedly have a really good burger. It was ok, but I didn’t think the food was anything too special. I would recommend a Hamburger Hamlet instead if you are looking for a good burger in L.A. The only thing catchy about this place would be ambiance, in a diner-counter sort of way. Limited menu, so don’t bring anyone veggie. Cash only.

I liked this place. It is authentic Mexican (not Tex-Mex). The decor has an old-school Mexican cantina theme. The waitresses even wear those old-fashioned South-of-the-border dresses. They are supposed to have the best Margaritas in the city. I don’t know if they are the best Margaritas, but they are definitely good. They offer blended Margaritas, too, even though these are not on the menu. (I know, those are not real Margaritas!) Portion sizes are really big. The green corn tamales are seasonal and are only available May-Oct. Lighting is dim and sexy, even in the middle of the day.
