I just realised I’ve been to Czestochowa in 2001, but we arrived in the night and left in the morning, and the only thing I remember is the hotel. On the way, of course, I saw the mountains, but I guess, in August, there’s not much skiing?
Should go there again in the season…

I saw mostly Transylvania, the city of Brasov. Went there by bus through most of Eastern Europe! Amazing trip! I’ve heard that Bucharest is big, noisy and a bit too much for some, but these small towns are great…
I really want to go back with more time!

I went in 2004, sadly the only time that was possible for me was August… I almost passed out in the heat, but still managed to do things: shopping (of course), dune safari, dinner on a dhow boat, picnic on the beach…
It’s a strange place, among the most artificial cities I’ve been to, but then again, I think that’s the whole purpose of Dubai, isn’t it? To create something HUGE where there was nothing.

I spent a few weeks going around Australia in 1995, visiting Melbourne & the surrounding countryside, Adelaide, Tasmania and Brisbane. Fraser island was awesome! I would also have like to have more time in Tasmania, to explore the nature and not just cities… Next time I’ll incorporate Sydney and the northern coast, too :)

Been there like 7 times in 8 years.. A few times just a couple of days, but twice I stayed for 6 weeks. Berlin is not pretty, but very interesting and full of things to do! You can rent a nice apartment for less than in most other European cities, and there are so many bars and clubs to visit.
Love the canals, too! And try Milchkaffee…

I had a good time on Vancouver Island, but had far too little time! I mostly just saw Victoria, and only heard about the beautiful places on the Western coast.
One thing NOT to do: NEVER stay at the hostel called something like “Turtle”.. “Rainbow”... ah, why is this happening to my memory?! I think it was Turtle Hostel. Cheap but horrifying.

..but it’s just forest and some suburb areas… and a little tech industry.

And remember, winter goes on well into May! We had planned to visit Lake Louise because we had heard so much about it. We arrived the first week of May, and the lake was still covered in grey ice, and it was freezing cold :( I guess it was an experience, but still.. disappointing.
Much better was the drive from Jasper to get there!

I’ve been in Toronto 4 times, for a total of around 15 months. So far, I haven’t been able to live downtown, but maybe next time… ;)
