Perfect place to learn to drive,

I only had time to visit the old part, which was well worth it,even on a day when it was 37 degrees.Typical narrow streets with lots of bars,some of the houses are a bit decrepit ,but suppose that adds to the character,this isn’t just a chocolate box

What could be more pleasant than a walk through the old streets of Bouzas?The beach may have seen better days but still worth a walk along the coast here,it’s a pity it doesn’t go all the way to Samil beach but hey this is Vigo where the logical and town planning never go together.Lot’s of places to eat in this village within Vigo which make it worth a visit

Is La Copa de Leche still open?

Well,the shipyard workers are still on strike in Vigo,18 days of stoppages so far.This results in the usual burning and disruption to everyone else’s lives.

Horrible Torrecedeira is having a makeover at the moment,widening the pavements,new street lights and who knows what else,resulting in the usual traffic chaos for which Vigo in general is known.One way systems and no parking anywhere.
Ah well at least they’ve started building the auditorium which will help property values.I wonder when they are going to move the prostitutes out of the area as it’s a hassle coming home late at night having to avoid some streets so as mot to shock my children with scantily clad women and transvestites.

Went for a football match can’t think of many reasons to visit unless you want to deposit a lot of money in the bank but it’s worth visiting to see such a small country and I’d rather live there than Switzerland.

They won’t being organizing any world cup down hill races here in the near future perhaps, but as a day out with your children it’s fine.I was surprised there wasn’t a bit more snow as the day before there had been some heavy falls in other parts of Spain but at least this made access easy.
