You’d think a city as expensive as Cambridge (or even Boston for that matter) would be a bit more well kept. That is not the case. You’d think a city at the hub of intellectualism would be able to provide you with a better shopping experience than the GAP and Urban Outfitters. Again, not the case.

Cambridge, and specifically Harvard Square has become nothing more than a sappy tourist trap. Over the past several years gentrification has taken hold and unfortunately, the city has lost much of its charm.

But yes, I agree, MIT has some pretty buildings. And Harvard does have great museums (and libraries, if you can get in). And don’t forget to check out the Brattle Theatre for some great screenings.

I don’t know.. I wonder what New Haven’s like??

Yes, it’s definitely a place worth visiting! The people are super friendly.. certainly more so than out here on the east coast.

I grew up in the midwest and my boyfriend lives in Chicago.. I miss him terribly and can’t wait to return and visit him!!
