Cadillac Mountain, Acadia National Park

Beautiful Views... viewed by ALL

I recommend taking the hike from the blackwoods camping area up Cadillac Mountain for the great hike and beautiful views as you journey upwards. A moderately difficult hike, I enjoyed it greatly, despite the anti-climatic ending. It was a little disappointing to reach the summit only to find a full parking lot and loads and loads of tourists… for a more pristine view, take the hike from Jordan Pond up Penobscott to Sergent Mountain.

Pisek, North Dakota

Untitled

My mother and her six brothers were born and raised in Pisek, and though most of them have moved elsewhere, and the town had less than 100 people counted at last census time, I have always loved this little city!

Bloomington, Minnesota

Bloomington Tourists?

Bloomington was a great place to grow up and go to school. The wildlife near the river is beautiful, but the Mall of America is basically a big pain… the only thing it’s good for is as a free parking lot from which to grab the light rail downtown.

If you want to visit Minnesota, stay in Minneapolis near lake Calhoun – museums, lakes, restaurants and bars uptown and downtown!
