by far the best beach town in the US! make sure to take the drive on the 7 mile bridge at some point…amazing view!

make sure to spend the time to take the ferry to Robben Island, the place where Nelson Mandela spent years of his life in brutal captivity. Walk the empty halls of the prison and feel the history that was made within those walls. And then listen to the story of when he returned and forgave the men for his pain. Puts life in perspective.

The most amazing city I’ve been too in the world. Definitely will be going back.

Every American needs to drive across our beautiful country. Just get in your car and drive and explore this incredible country. Quick stops in the tourist areas and longer visits off the main road to truly enjoy how lucky we are to be living in such a diverse country. Just do it!! :)

Make sure to do the whitewater rafting it’s an amazing experience. Enjoy the baboons and warthogs walking in the streets. Only regret is not bungee jumping from the Zambia bridge. They wanted $65 US and wouldn’t negotiate so I didn’t do it. Wish I would have.

Makololo Lodge in Hwange National Park was incredible and highly recommended. The accommodates were luxurious but you still experience living in the bush…no fence, no people. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and after 5 days of touring, trekking and learning about the wildlife I left a different person. It’s a reasonable drive from Victoria Falls and the combo trip was well worth it.
