I might be going to Icelend in July this year, with Shetland Folkdance and a bus full of other dancers and musicians!! And as we are hopefully getting funding for travel and stuff, and being hosted by locals, I will only have to pay for my food!!

slightly disappointed. the area of the jordanhill campus is quite nice but the music building didnt live up to my expectations. Didnt see the rest of the main campus but it has to be said – The Strathclyde Union is AMAZING!! spent wednesday night there and it was fab, never saw most of it but what i did see was great!

so all in all, not the university for me, but good for a night out!

Buchannan Galleries is the 2nd best shopping centre Ive ever been to, its amazing!! So many shops. And then you come out onto Buchannan Street and it just continues in both directions, wonderful!

Im actually going there tomorrow- well the Jordanhill campus – for an audition to do their BA in Applied Music. This is my top choice of all the courses Ive applied for!

I quite like glasgow, its a great place to shop! Ive never done much “touristy” stuff, eg going to museaums and places of interest like that, but maybe when I go down nearer the end of March I will have time to do so. Am going to Glasgow today (hopefully, lots of snow, plane might not go!) but only for 2 days, auditioning for Uni – Glasgow is the place I want to go, it seems to have the best reputation for music courses!

Sark is another of the islands which competed in the Island Games 2005, part of my goal to visit them all.

a long way to travel! but if I go to all the island games participants, i will have to go!

we almost moved to the Falklands for 6 months with my dads work, but that didnt happen in the end. I dont htink I saw any of the Falklands team at the Island Games but I still want to go.

I really cant remember much of what I learned about the place, except its an island off the west coast of Norway (i think!). But its one of the participants of the island games, and i want to visit them all!

i have a bit of a thing for greece, plus Rhodes is the next host of the Island Games so I may well go in 2007!
