I took my husband there for an anniversary present. It was geektastic.

It was very interesting. I can’t imagine myself going there again, but it was definitely interesting. If you go there it worthwhile to take the free tour.

Very fine Karaoke . Though the last time I was there (at my bachelorette party) I got in a fight with some jerk who was just there to make fun of people. I just don’t think mocking people who are willing to get up and embarass themselves like that is cool. On weeknights it’s much more laid back crowd. Another plus, the drinks are good and strong.

For a friend’s wedding. I don’t know that Salt Lake would have made the list until my friend Kenji moved there but now I am looking forward to going there next month for his wedding.

And my husband and I were going to go there for our honeymoon last May, but in the end decided sitting on a beach in Mexico sounded like a better idea after all the stress of planning the wedding. Instead we are going to spend our first anniversary there, April 30, 2006 – kind of a second honeymoon.

That’s where I drank the world’s best martini (Tanqueray 10 with Maytag blue cheese stuffed olives, yummy). Then my buddy and I saw Pete Rose and that was a little weird. There was no more drinking for a while after that.

I used to work in Kirkland, too. In the time I worked there I lived in Renton and Bothell. Talk about soul destroying. Juanita Beach is a nice place to eat lunch, though and I kind of miss Kami Teriyaki, near Totem Lake Mall (really good spicy chicken).

Definitely one of the coolest cities in North America.

12 years ago and theat stupid song is still stuck in my head. not to mention those creepy little dolls gave me the willies. I think I skipped it the laast time I was there.
