a quiet little mountainside town with a huge statue of Wissler’s mother. Some people might find this place boring, but I love seeing breathtaking mountain top vistas and taking pictures of strange monuments. There is also a pioneer coal tunnel tour which was interesting (just remember to take your jacket….BRR).

there is not much to do in Clearfield other than visit Denny’s beer barrel pub where you can order a 15 pound burger (if you are REALLY REALLY hungry). we ordered the 6 pounder and between 4 of us could not finish it. It was fun trying though.

The wax museum was ok – but I’ve been in much nicer and better wax museums. It wasnt really worth $6.00 to see it.

I was born and raised in York. The only thing worthwhile in York is the Harley Davidson factory. The people here are so rude. Everyone notices this. Everytime I come back to visit my relatives I thank God that I no longer live in this miserable town. This is not a good place to raise your children or to retire in. The crime rate has skyrocketed. There are also alot of “strange” people who live here. It seems as though all the world’s social rejects have chosen to reside here. no wonder there are 0 people who want to come here. This town sucks!!!

I travel through New Jersey often on my way to Long Island and it is horrible. Not only does it smell like garbage the minute you get into the state, but the people are rude and drive like maniacs!

I went into Port Discovery with my son when he was 11 years old. It was interesting but it is geared more towards smaller children. If you have small children this is an ideal place to take them. If you have older kids take them to the aquarium.

I was on Tybee Island 3 years ago when my son and I took a road trip. We went to a place called the crab shack that was listed in a book called “Road food” It was wonderful! for $50.00 you can get a heaping platter of crab legs, mussels, crawfish, corn on the cob, sausage and potatoes for 2 (or more) people. I enjoyed myself so much. The beach at tybee is so peaceful. You can easily find sand dollars. I love this place so much that I decided to get married here. On August 22nd 2006 I will be getting married at the Tybee lighthouse. Afterwards I am going to get another seafood platter at the crab shack. I dont know which excites me more – getting married or eating that wonderful platter!! LOL

My son and I took a road trip 3 years ago and we ended up in Gulf Shores Alabama. We found a campground and while we were registering the lady asked if we had any small pets with us. We told her we didnt, then asked why. She told us that “dog” is alligator’s favorite food. I was a little concerned because we were tent camping. She assured us that the alligators would not bother us, but it was a restless night none the less. Everytime I heard a noise outside the tent I’d check to make sure it wasnt an alligator. The beach was spectacular! White sand that looks just like sugar. Warm water – not cold like the northern beaches. I will definately come back here some day.
