Las Vegas, Nevada

too loud, too bright, too shallow

Visiting once is fine, but I’ve had to go here many times for work and other reasons and it gets old quick. I’m not a gambler (and why would you? You always end up giving your hard earned money to the casino) So there’s not usually a whole lot else to do except drink a lot, eat go to overpriced attractions or to lame clubs that all play the same 3 songs over and over.

One of the highlights was staying at the Mandalay in the summer — the psuedo-beach and river-thing are fun to play around in with friends.
I’ve seen some good shows, and had some good times here, but the enviroment is just too overwhelming.

District of Columbia, United States

amazing and inspiring

I’ve only spent a couple days here. Not nearly enought time to see it all. I would take weeks to really see just the usual tourist fare, and I’m sure there’s even more than that to see and do.

Napa Valley, Napa County

Born and raised here

I know it well! If you can’t get into the French Laundry try the Culinary Institute at Greystone, or The Rutherford Grill. For novelty try the tram ride at Sterling.
